MR. ANWER MANSOOR ALI KHAN (Former Attorney General of Pakistan and Chief, Board of Governors, HHT)
Mr. Anwer Mansoor Ali Khan was born in the Kanpur city of India and migrated to Pakistan from India during the partition time. He obtained his early education and then graduated Bachelor degrees in Arts & Laws simultaneously. In 1971, he joined Pakistan Army as Commissioned Officer and took part in the war against India. In the year 1974, he left Pakistan Army and joined the profession of Law.
He was elected as Secretary at High Court Bar Association, Sind Bar Council & Pakistan Bar Council in different times. He also acted as an Advocate General of Sind for 5 years and served as a Judge in the High Court of Sind at Karachi. During his judgeship in the High Court, he documented & promoted the lease financing & delivered lectures on different topics. He was deputed as an Attorney General of Pakistan on December 22, 2009.
Mr. Anwer Mansoor Ali Khan is also the Chief, Board of Governors in Helping Hands Trust who takes part in the welfare work for poor people. He also plays an important role in different campaigns organized by HHT e.g., Flood relief, Drought in Thar etc., and worked with the HHT team. With the help of HHT team, he collected a lot of food & life caring stuff and distributed among the people from different deprived areas like Gulshan-e-Maymar, Dalmia, Sachal Goth, Razzaqabad in Karachi and Chakar Khan Goth, Petaro, Jamshoro, Kotri in Sind.
