we as a Non-Profit Organization try our level best to provide solutions to every age group. While working for youth we remember the problems for under privileged ones & those who are unable to earn for their families due to genuine reasons (like Disability/ Widow, Orphans, Aged) .For this we have launched a project with name “HHT Rashan Waseela”. Initially the project was only for “Ramadan” but our success; positive reviews have enabled us to take this project further more throughout the year.
HHT wants to help our poor and unsheltered people. The grocery packages were carrying
- Atta 10 Kg.
- Rice 3 Kg.
- Sugar 2 Kg.
- Chana Black 1 Kg.
- Dal Chana 1 Kg.
- Baisan 1.5 Kg.
- Chilli Powder 200 g.
- Dhania Powder 250 g.
- Ghee 2.5 Kg.
- Tea 200 g.
- Rooh Afza 800 ml.
- Dates 200 g Box.
- Vermicelli 1 Packet.
- Salt 1 Packet.
The above mentioned package was distributed packages in the month of Ramadan. The RASHAN packs were ordered at Metro Cash & Carry on discounted rates and for the convenience of the poor families, they were given an authorized HHT Rashan Waseela Ration Card and on behalf of that they could collect their ration pack at Metro Cash & Carry outlet.
In order to project it to the people, VIBE TV provided the media coverage and was aired many times in their morning show “Subha Bakhair Vibe kay sath” hosted by Jia Ali. In order to raise funds, our Chairman Anwer Ali Faridi asked for the contribution from the general public to sponsor as many packages as they could so that this project should be carried out throughout the year.
HHT has been distributed Rashan packs to unprivileged families & keep distributing AATA (flour Bags) in 2012 & same as in 2013.
All the entire procedure is very transparent and we welcome our donors to come and check the campaign themselves.
The first distribution was completed by Mr. Anwar Mansoor Khan (Chief Board of governor), the Second was by Chairman HHT Advocate Anwer Ali Faridi & the Third one was by Mrs., Zerfishan Arbab (D.D.O Social welfare department Karachi) in 2012.
In 2013 the Rashan Hampers were distributed in Needy families through Mr. Manzoor Ahmed Abbasi (Administrator Gulshan-e-Iqbal town Karachi).
